NEW Pretty Little Things

Im selling at a festival near where i live again this year, last year it was really good, i sold quite a bit and got some lovely comments. This year ive got lots more to sell! heres a sneak peak at some of the designs on the silk printed tshirts ive been working on!

WHAT NEXT!

Now im back home in bristol i have to decide what to actually do with my life! I am now in the real world wahhh
well so far everything has gone quite well ive got myself a little part time job in NEXT this will give me a bit of money to live off of LOL i also have been offered
some freelance work in london which sounds really good! i get to work from home designing and sewing and i get paid for it! :)
then also ive got to the second stage for a design job in cornwall, im suprised i even got through this stage as the jobs says you should have at least have 3 years experience! they have set me a project to complete by the end of next week, i thought i may as well give it a go ! i would love the chance to work for them and live in beauuutttiful cornwall :)

Even if i dont get it , its all good experience and i can keep the project for my portflio , once its done il post it on here :)

FINISHED

Ive Finished university!! i set up a separate blog for my final project http://emmawarrendesign.blogspot.com/ click the link for photos of my degree show! :)
my project was on Brooklyn bridge in new york how the abstract nature of the bridge cut and pieced together the skyline, i looked at perspective and how something can to start with appear so small then span out to appear larger, Alongside the samples i completed for my portfolio i also created 3 dresses for the degree show which i then projected my photography on top to act as another layer, as part of my project was looking at interchangeable layers.

preview of some samples from growth and restriction

There are a few more samples that i havent photographed yet, using more of the rolled leather technique, and experimenting more with connection and the idea of the garment looking like it has jewellery attached.
