Sarah Baadarani

I was really looking forward to seeing Sarah's finished collection, that I helped work on whilst interning. I love the contrast in fabrics, the dark piping that guides the eye and cuts the garments alongside the delicate lace or beaded detailing. I loved working with Sarah I did a lot of beading and lace work which you can see present in the photos below. My favourite are the black tapperd trousers which have a strip of red piping running down the centre of each leg, I beaded the red cord so at the top of the leg the swarovski crystals were clustered tightly then the crystals graduated getting less and less, The design really elongated the leg and drew the eye to the crystal detailing.

Liberty's shop window

I recently got sent some images of the shop window in liberty's, and also some close up images of the Grayson prey dolls I helped work on whilst working for Karen Nicol.

I am running out of space in my studio!

My studio is getting so FULL! I cannot stop collecting and accumulating fabrics, trims and beads!

My favourite film when I was young was Indian in the cupboard so when I came across this cupboard (scroll down for image) at a vintage fair I JUST HAD TO HAVE IT! at the moment I use to store my ribbons and trims :)

Then I found this desk, I already have a desk for my sewing machine and overlocker, so I really don't have room for it, but I LOVE it so of course I made room for it :) . My mum jokes that I have enough furniture to full a house but no house of my own!
